PULELEHUA (HawaiiNewsNow) – A community meeting to discuss the future of Lahaina’s King Kamehameha III Elementary School is set for Tuesday.
It will be held at 5 p.m. in the cafeteria of the school’s temporary campus.
The community will be able to give feedback on rebuilding the new school on land owned by Kamehameha Schools in Ku’ia in Lahaina — roughly 2 miles from the original site, outside the fire impacted zone.
Anyone is welcome to attend to provide their input on proposed sites for rebuilding.
